Don’t let its small size fool you. Safety isn’t sacrificed when it comes to the Chevy Spark. The Spark features a safety cage that absorbs the impact of a collision and has crumple zones to prevent the car from collapsing in during an accident. Some other safety features include:

Delivering Plenty of Power

All trim levels come with the same engine and the option for a manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT). The engine is a 1.4-liter inline 4-cylinder that delivers 98 horsepower and 94 lb-ft of torque. You’re not going to win races at the track, but you can rely on the engine to get you in and out of sticky situations. In terms of gas mileage, the manual transmission and the CVT deliver similar numbers.

You can expect the following gas mileage as follows:

• Manual transmission: 29 mpg city/38 mpg highway
• CVT: 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway
• ACTIV trim manual transmission: 29 mpg city/37 mpg highway
• ACTIV trim CVT transmission: 30 mpg city/37 mpg

As previously mentioned, all trim packages feature a manual and CVT transmission. You can select the trim levels of your choice along with the transmission you prefer. Trim levels include:

• 2LT
• 2LT
• ACTIV

A Spark Special Edition is also available. Featuring an appearance option in the form of a Mosaic Black two-tone roof and contrasting body color for cars in Summit White and Mystic Blue. These two colors get black rearview mirror caps and a black grille surround with black daytime running bezel lamps. Mosaic Black exteriors feature a Summit White two-tone roof with white rearview mirror caps, black grille surround, and white daytime running lamp bezels.

The LS trim is the base model for the 2022 Chevrolet Spark and includes features such as:
